Measure the user's hip width while seated. Add 2–5 cm for comfort. Standard sizes are 16", 18", and 20". Too narrow causes pressure sores; too wide makes self-propelling difficult.
Check the wheelchair's weight capacity (beban maksimum). Standard wheelchairs support up to 100–120 kg. Bariatric models are available for heavier users. Ask us if you need one.
